A Massive Thank You To Rayners Lane

We would like to take this opportunity to send our sincere thanks and very best wishes to everyone at Rayners Lane Football Club following our visit this weekend.

Although the result on the day ended in a narrow 2-1 defeat for us, football was only part of the story. What stood out far more than the scoreline was the warmth, respect and outstanding hospitality we received from everyone connected with Rayners Lane. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. Days like these remind us all of the true values that make non league football so special.

The match itself was played in the right spirit, with both sides showing commitment and quality in a competitive but respectful contest. Off the pitch, the hospitality extended to our players, staff and supporters was first class and something we are extremely grateful for. In football, results will come and go, but the relationships built between clubs and the memories made along the way are what truly last.

Rayners Lane are a real credit to themselves and to the wider non-league football community. We are proud to have shared the pitch with them and to have enjoyed such a positive experience together.

We would like to wish Rayners Lane every success for the rest of their season and beyond. We look forward to welcoming them to Punjab United when we meet again next season and continuing the great relationship between both clubs.
