Our Opponents:

Faversham Strike Force have had a hard time adjusting to competitive in the SCEFL after being newly promoted and find themselves in 17th place but currently clear of relegation.
Faversham’s recent form is on the rise as they are coming off a strong 3-3 draw with Tunbridge Wells but they also suffered a 2-1 loss recently to Stansfeld. However, they were able to secure a 2-1 win against Larkfield & New Hythe.
In terms of players, Harry Taylor is the leading marksmen for Faversham, with 14 goals he has proved himself all season to be a goal scoring threat and is a player Punjab will have to watch out for.
History:
Faversham Strike Force’s senior side was formed in 2014 and began competing in the Kent County League. The club quickly established itself, achieving consecutive promotions that saw them rise from Division Three all the way to the Kent County Premier Division.
In their very first season at Premier Division level, Strike Force enjoyed remarkable success by winning the league title. However, despite becoming champions, the club was unable to secure promotion to the Southern Counties East Football League due to ground grading requirements at the time.
The following season brought significant change, as the management team moved on to pursue a new challenge. A rebuilding process began with a new management structure and a refreshed squad, combining players from the club’s Under-18 side with members of the existing senior team. A five-year plan was put in place with the aim of ultimately reaching the SCEFL.
By the 2019/20 season, the progress of that rebuild was clear, with the team sitting third in the Kent County League Premier Division and firmly pushing towards the next step. As part of that ambition, the club arranged a ground share with Rochester United, an established SCEFL Division One side. This agreement provided the facilities required for the club to submit a successful application for promotion to the SCEFL.
In recent seasons, the club has continued to progress and has spent the last three years groundsharing with Faversham Town, a significant step forward that brought the senior side back to playing in their hometown.
The 2024/25 season proved to be a historic one for Faversham Strike Force. The team secured the SCEFL Division One title on the final day of the campaign, sealing promotion to the SCEFL Premier Division and marking another major milestone in the club’s rapid rise through the non-league pyramid.
