History:

Holmesdale Football Club, originally founded as Holmesdale Baptists in the early 1920s in South Norwood, is affiliated with the Kent County F.A and currently play at Oakley Road, Bromley, in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division.

The first club folded in 1923, but was reformed in 1956 by the 3rd East Surrey Boys Brigade. Dropping “Baptists” from the name, they climbed through local leagues, winning several titles in the 1960s and 70s. Success continued with honours in the Surrey South Eastern Combination (1992–93) and the Surrey Premier League Charity Cup (1993–94).

In 2000 they relocated to Bromley and joined the Kent County League, before back-to-back titles in 2005–06 and 2006–07 earned promotion to the Kent League (later renamed the Southern Counties East League).

After relegation to Division One in 2015–16, Holmesdale rebuilt steadily, securing mid-table finishes before being promoted back to the Premier Division in 2021 as part of the non-league restructure.

The club previously played at Oaks Road, Shirley, but moved to Oakley Road to meet senior league requirements.
