Punjab United are pleased to confirm that midfielder/defender Jordan Campbell will be staying at the club for the 2024/25 season.
Jordan joined the club from Corinthian in 2020, making 32 appearances last season. He's one of our longest serving players at the club. He's someone who is very versatile, playing at right-back and midfield last season.
Jordan Campbell said, “I’m delighted to be staying at Punjab United this season. Having been at the club since 2020, it's great to see how much the club has progressed over time. I feel that over the past few seasons we've not had the best of starts but always finish on a high. This year I feel that we definitely have enough quality to compete for the playoffs and who knows what could happen in other competitions. I hope to play my part and hopefully we can achieve these expectations.
Manager - Chipie Sian: "Jordan has been at the club now for over four years and has been an unreal servant to the club. He's a great character on the pitch as well as off the pitch. He can also play anywhere across the defence and midfield and it's great to have that versatility in the squad. He's definitely a player that can contribute with a few goals and hopefully can help us achieve our goal of making the playoffs.
Everyone at Punjab United would like to give a warm welcome back to Jordan and we look forward to watching you soon!
As committee member Navil Pal would say, Jordan reminds him of his younger self!
