Neil Spencer to remain at Punjab United for the 2024/25 Season

Punjab United are delighted to announce that winger Neil Spencer will be staying at the club for the 2024/25 season.

Neil joined the club from Sutton Athletic in late January, making 13 appearances for the club last season. He scored his debut goals against Welling Town in a 4-0 win and a 3-1 away win against Hollands & Blair. Neil is a tricky winger who is not afraid to take a player on and gives us quality when going forward.

Neil Spencer said, “I’m delighted to be staying at Punjab United this season. Since joining in late January, I've never looked back as there are many great people at this club, on the pitch and off the pitch who have made me feel welcome. It was nice to get a few goals last season and especially make my debut against FA Cup killing giants Maidstone United. This season I feel that we definitely have enough quality in all areas to compete for the playoffs and who knows what could happen in other competitions. I hope to play my part by scoring and assisting goals which will hopefully put us in that position.

Manager - Chipie Sian: "Neil is a quality winger who I've had my eyes on for quite a while. I was delighted to sign him in January and what a game for his debut to be against, the FA Cup giant killers, Maidstone United. He done very well that game and since then he's been quality. There's still more to show from him and I have full faith that he will be able to fulfil that potential."

Everyone at Punjab United would like to give a warm welcome back to Neil and we look forward to watching you soon!
