Punjab United vs Snodland Town, SCEFL Premier Division, The Steve Cook Stadium, Saturday 25th January 2025, 3:00pm Kick-Off

Punjab won 1-0 against Larkfield & New Hythe in the Southern Counties East Premier Division thanks to a last minute screamer from Jordan Campbell. Following this win, Punjab are unbeaten in their last three games and will look to continue that unbeaten run. However, it will be a tough game as Snodland Town come to The Steve Cook Stadium.

Snodland Town are coming off a defeat to Larkfield & New Hythe, where they lost 1-0 in The DFDS Kent Senior Trophy. Snodland currently sit 15th in the Premier Division, so it will be a tough game for both sides.

Snodland's main man to look out for is Stanley Oldfield who has 14 goals in 23 appearances.

Here’s all the stats that Punjab fans need to know ahead of the game…

Opposition (A Brief History):

With the momentous decision in 2012 to amalgamate all the main adult and youth teams in

the town under one club name - Snodland Town Football Club – football in Snodland has

moved forward at a faster pace than at any time in its long and eventful past.

In 2012 the club acquired a lease from the local Town Council to enable development of its

own ground. An ambitious development plan has since seen the ground transformed to

meet Southern Counties East Football League standards including floodlighting, a 160-seat

spectator stand, new dressing rooms and hospitality facilities. The ground has become the

focal point for all the club’s community activities.

In 2016 the club staged its first match in the Southern Counties East Football League,

Division One, the highest level of football ever played in Snodland. In the first full season following the Covid pandemic we made it to the First Division Play-Offs, unfortunately losing the semi-final.

At the end of the 2022/23 campaign, we were promoted to the Premier Division of the

Southern Counties East Football League as Champions of Division One. For our first

season in the Premier Division our ground had a name change to the GI Landscapes

Stadium and the team finished a very creditable eighth. We now look forward to our second

campaign at Step 5 level.
