Stansfeld haven’t had the campaign they would have hoped so far as they find themselves sitting in the relegation zone, 2 points from safety. However they had a lot to be proud of as they rounded out the end of 2025 with a 3 game unbeaten streak which included a hard fought 4-4 draw against Corinthian.

In terms of individual talent Adam Wallis is Stansfeld's current target man, with 8 goals across all competitions including a goal against Punjab during our last encounter.

History:

Stansfeld, Oxford and Bermondsey Club was formed in 1897 by Dr John Stansfeld, an Oxford graduate who sought to provide positive opportunities for young people in Bermondsey and surrounding areas. What began as a social initiative grew into a long-standing sporting organisation, with its headquarters now based in Webb Street, Bermondsey, offering a wide range of sporting and social activities.

On the football side, the club currently fields several teams across different levels, including a first team in the SCEFL, reserve and development sides, and youth teams, reflecting its strong commitment to player development.

Stansfeld have enjoyed a rich and successful history within the Kent County League, winning multiple league titles across different divisions between the 1960s and 1990s, and regularly competing at the top end of the pyramid. The club joined the Southern Counties East League structure following league reorganisation and has remained a competitive force ever since.

Following a takeover of Eltham Palace in 2016, the club adopted the Stansfeld name in 2017 and has continued to progress steadily. Recent highlights include a top-four league finish curtailed by Covid, a first-ever FA Vase run to the Second Round Proper, and winning the SCEFL First Division title in 2021–22.

Now established at Step 5, Stansfeld achieved a top-half finish in their first season at this level. Under the guidance of manager Billy Shinners, the club looks forward to building further momentum as they continue their journey.
