Corinthian FC vs Punjab United, SCEFL Premier Division, Gay Dawn Farm, Saturday 21st March2026, 3:00pm Kick-Off

After a narrow defeat to the league leaders Whitstable Town at home on Wednesday night, Punjab will be aiming to get back to winning ways before their massive FA Vase tie only just over a week away as they make the short trip to take on Corinthian FC.
Wednesday was a game of few chances for both sides but as Punjab thought that they could get a point, a mistake proved to be costly as an 86th minute winner from Jack Nelson put Whitstable only four points away from winning the title.
Despite the loss in a time where wins are necessary for our playoff push, a good performance was shown and hopefully can be taken into tomorrow's game. A win for Punjab tomorrow could put them into as high as 6th place if other results go their way. However, a win for Corinthian would solidify their place in the SCEFL Premier for next season.
Our Opponents:

Corinthian currently find themselves sitting in 12th place following a four game unbeaten run including wins against Snodland Town & Holmesdale.
A play to look out for is Tom Mitcham who has scored 25 goals this season from all competitions, putting him 2nd in the goalscoring charts in the league. He will be a player Punjab’s defence will be on the look out for.
Overall, this game is important as Punjab continue to push up into those all-important playoff positions and a few more wins on the road can secure that for them before their first leg against Cockfosters in the FA Vase, so any momentum will be apperciated by the side. For Corinthians, they are already looking to continue their unbeaten run, but are also looking to elevate themselves through the field to join the top 10. It’s all to play for this Saturday, make sure to come and support Punjab at Gay Dawn Farm this weekend.
